Responsibilities
- Execute complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure full compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Lead and mentor junior electricians and apprentices, providing technical guidance and fostering a safe working environment.
- Prepare detailed job plans, cost estimates, and material lists for projects.
- Respond to emergency service calls promptly, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, time logs, and material usage.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Journeyman or Master Electrician License (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on resolving issues quickly and effectively.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
