Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and code-compliant wiring in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using test equipment and industry best practices.
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Michigan required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Skills: Proficiency in using electrical testing meters, power tools, and hand tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
