Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective, code-compliant solutions promptly.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, site superintendents, and construction teams to meet project deadlines.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily timesheets and material reports.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid State of Michigan Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
