Job Overview:
As our Night Shift Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure our clients' electrical infrastructure is safe, efficient, and up to code.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing on electrical equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule to meet client deadlines.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding job progress and any issues that arise.
- Manage inventory of materials and tools, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician License in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Experience working in Night Shift environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
