Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and motor controls.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local (Oregon) and national electrical codes (NEC/NFPA 70E).
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to strict safety protocols at all times.
- Document all work performed and report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of Oregon.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing equipment.
