Responsibilities
- Execute Installations: Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and industrial equipment.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes, including OSHA safety regulations.
- Night Operations: Manage and troubleshoot electrical systems during night shifts to minimize disruption to daytime operations.
- Blueprint Analysis: Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute wiring layouts.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and service calls with a focus on rapid resolution and safety.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project delivery.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required (New York State).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Safety Knowledge: Deep understanding of NFPA 70E and general workplace safety protocols.
- Tools: Proficient in the use of electrical testing meters and hand tools.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces.
