Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex electrical systems for luxury residences and commercial buildings
- Lead troubleshooting of advanced control systems and power distribution networks
- Ensure all installations comply with NYC Electrical Code and NEC standards
- Manage project timelines, material procurement, and team coordination
- Mentor apprentices and conduct safety compliance audits
- Interface with architects, engineers, and clients on technical specifications
- Document all work with detailed schematics and compliance reports
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Master Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential experience in NYC
- Expertise in smart home automation systems and energy-efficient installations
- Proven leadership managing teams of 3+ electricians
- Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR training
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
