Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan electrical layouts and systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential hazards before they become problems.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to provide estimates and explain technical requirements clearly.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
