Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and blueprints.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Conduct thorough safety inspections and implement necessary precautions on job sites.
- Lead and mentor junior electricians and apprentices to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including time sheets and material usage.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Kentucky Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA safety standards and electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
