Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair: Perform complex diagnoses and repairs on residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Installations: Execute precise pipe installations, including copper, PEX, and galvanized steel, ensuring full compliance with local and national codes.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical issues clearly and offering professional solutions.
- Project Management: Oversee smaller projects and mentor junior apprentices to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair company vehicles and specialized plumbing tools.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and local building codes (BOCA/NICC).
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Pennsylvania Master Plumber License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, calculating flow rates, and using modern diagnostic tools.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs), work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background and drug screening.
