Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems, including water heaters, drainage, and piping.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine optimal installation methods.
- Perform rigorous inspections to ensure all work complies with local, state, and national building codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Mentor junior apprentices and ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license in the District of Columbia or Virginia.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of modern plumbing systems, fixtures, and installation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Current Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
