Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and pressure problems, with minimal supervision.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national building codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent future system failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Lead junior technicians and apprentices, providing mentorship on proper techniques and safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including clear communication regarding project timelines and costs.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman or Master Plumber license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- In-depth knowledge of pipefitting, welding, and various pipe materials (PVC, copper, cast iron).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions and job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
