Responsibilities
- System Installation: Install and repair piping systems for water, drainage, and gas using copper, PVC, and PEX materials.
- Blueprint Analysis: Interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine accurate placement of pipes, fixtures, and equipment.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency service calls and resolve critical plumbing failures with minimal downtime.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets strict local, state, and national building codes and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior plumbers and apprentices, providing guidance on technical procedures and safety protocols.
- Project Estimation: Assist project managers in estimating material requirements and labor hours for new projects.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license issued by the State of Texas.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Tools: Must own and maintain a comprehensive set of professional plumbing tools.
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
