Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, demolition, and material handling operations
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with OSHA compliance
- Install/erect structural frameworks and scaffolding systems
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing procedures
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality standards
- Coordinate with shift supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Maintain equipment and job site cleanliness
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid NYC Construction Worker Certification
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of power tools and heavy machinery
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic blueprint reading and math skills
- Class B CDL preferred but not required
