Responsibilities
- Execute concrete pouring, formwork installation, and finishing to engineering specifications
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools with precision
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, safety barriers, and temporary structures
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job site logistics
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, hazard-free work environments
- Collaborate with skilled trades professionals (carpenters, electricians, etc.)
- Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, and soil stabilization
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience required
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience operating heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in night shift conditions
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
