Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate basic construction equipment under supervision (forklifts, jackhammers)
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout shift operations
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and post-shift equipment inspections
- Support emergency response procedures during overnight operations
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train all new hires
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Valid state ID or driver's license (mandatory for equipment operation training)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
- Willingness to work overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM, flexible scheduling)
- Basic English communication skills for team coordination
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance
