Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling on active construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, cleanup, and safety compliance
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with night shift teams to meet project deadlines
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Drug-free and pass pre-employment physical screening
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
