Responsibilities
- Perform demolition, excavation, and site preparation tasks under supervisor guidance
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using hand tools and machinery
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material staging and cleanup
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain job site cleanliness
- Operate power tools (drills, saws, jackhammers) after certification training
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
- Participate in emergency response drills and site security protocols
Qualifications
- No prior experience requiredâentry-level candidates encouraged to apply
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Willingness to work nights (6 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Austin metro
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
