Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools for excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Assist skilled trades with material transport and equipment operation
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines during night shifts
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout operations
- Perform concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as directed
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Greater New Orleans
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
