Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and structural assembly under night shift supervision
- Operate heavy machinery (skid steers, excavators) and hand tools with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Inspect and maintain job site equipment, reporting malfunctions immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on aggressive timelines
- Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety standards during all operations
- Prepare and maintain accurate job site documentation and progress reports
- Support overnight material deliveries and inventory management at remote Illinois sites
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Class B CDL license or ability to obtain within 90 days for equipment operation
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic tool/equipment troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to travel to Illinois project sites (1-2 nights per week)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced night crew
