Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and earthmoving operations using heavy machinery
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and manual equipment (shovels, wheelbarrows)
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing tasks
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and job-specific blueprints
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong teamwork ethic and attention to safety
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
