Responsibilities
- Execute complex construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and structural framing during night operations
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and power tools with precision and safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure dimensional accuracy and material optimization
- Implement OSHA-compliant safety measures and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless workflow across shift transitions
- Manage material inventory and job site organization for maximum efficiency
- Document progress and report technical issues to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction labor experience
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM, 4 days/week)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and operate in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and construction measurement equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
