Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely according to OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and project managers.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Commitment to safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
