Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthmoving tasks
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Install/assemble scaffolding and temporary structures
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, masons, welders)
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction site experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Class B CDL or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly
- Flexible availability (12-hour night shifts)
- Basic math/measurement skills
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Stable work history with verifiable references
