Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools under supervision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site setup
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work zone
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Complete daily maintenance tasks on tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Availability to work nights (typically 7 PM - 7 AM) with rotating weekends
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first practices
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
