Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled trades with carpentry, masonry, and site preparation work
- Maintain job site safety protocols and equipment functionality
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions accurately
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws)
- Prepare and clean work areas to meet OSHA standards
- Collaborate with night shift crews to meet project deadlines
- Report safety hazards and maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
