Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete, framing, and demolition tasks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Load/unload equipment and materials with proper lifting techniques
- Complete daily time logs and progress reports accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexible schedule availability (10 PM - 6 AM shifts)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to travel between Kansas City, MO and Texas sites
