Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks including excavation, lifting, and equipment operation
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to all safety regulations
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision and perform basic site maintenance
- Document daily progress and report any safety hazards or equipment issues
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – full training provided
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Willingness to work night shifts (typically 8 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols (training provided)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
