Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and structural assembly under night shift supervision
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) and hand tools with precision and safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications for accurate implementation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including carpenters, electricians, and supervisors
- Perform site preparation, material handling, and waste management duties efficiently
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately to shift supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor or related trade experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and basic construction equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive night shift team
