Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily on-site construction tasks and operations.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the work site.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and preparation of work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by project managers and foremen.
- Assist in basic excavation, concrete pouring, or framing tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in construction, general labor, or the skilled trades is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Must be physically fit, able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and stand for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
