Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation during overnight shifts
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled trades professionals on complex building projects
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and technical schematics
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience in commercial or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic construction equipment
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
