Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including loading, unloading, and staging construction materials at the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, HVAC) with daily operations and setup.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain a safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Assist with demolition, excavation, and site preparation tasks as directed.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow crew members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction labor or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Must be available and willing to work night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to hazard identification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
