Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, loading/unloading equipment
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (training provided)
- Maintain clean and organized work areas per OSHA standards
- Follow precise instructions from site supervisors
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying materials
- Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately
- Participate in mandatory safety briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience necessary - we provide full training!
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (standing, bending, lifting)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
- Must be available for night shifts (typically 6 PM - 4 AM)
- Basic communication skills in English
- Valid government-issued ID
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
