Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
- Site Prep: Assist in site preparation including digging, grading, debris removal, and setting up temporary fencing.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools (saws, drills, pressure washers) under supervision.
- Trade Assistance: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled trades as required.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards, wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times, and report hazards immediately.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Documentation: Help with basic site documentation and time tracking.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime during peak seasons.
- Driver's License: A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions from supervisors and work well in a team environment.
- Experience: Prior construction or landscaping experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
