Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, drills)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction activities and follow safety protocols
- Maintain organized work areas and report equipment maintenance needs
- Adhere to project timelines and communicate progress to site supervisors
- Support night shift operations including loading/unloading materials
- Participate in mandatory safety training and meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work flexible night shifts (typically 6 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following instructions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- No prior construction experience necessary – training provided
- Basic English communication skills for team collaboration
