Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Assist skilled trades with layout, excavation, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following safety protocols
- Adhere to project timelines and communicate progress to supervisors
- Participate in toolbox meetings and safety training sessions
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and installation processes
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Willingness to work nights (7 PM - 5 AM) in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Oakland
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA standards
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
