Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tools, equipment, and material preparation
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Operate basic machinery under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, power saws)
- Maintain organized work areas and manage waste disposal
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate with site supervisors
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Participate in emergency response drills and site security protocols
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- No construction experience required – training provided
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
- Flexible availability for night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
