Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials and tools across the job site efficiently and safely.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople with daily tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Operate power tools, including saws, drills, and compressors, strictly following all safety protocols.
- Perform general site preparation, including excavation, cleanup, and debris removal.
- Ensure the job site remains clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards at all times.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and job site instructions to understand project requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of materials used and hours worked.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Previous construction experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and estimating material needs.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
