Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, excavation, and material handling during night shifts
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Load/un construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Perform concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Collaborate with crew leads and fellow laborers efficiently
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic understanding of construction terminology preferred
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Reliable transportation to North Portland worksites
- OSHA 10 certification (training provided if needed)
