Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers) during night shift operations
- Load/unload construction materials and ensure proper site organization
- Perform concrete work, demolition, and excavation as project requirements dictate
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, welders) on complex builds
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist in blueprint interpretation and task execution
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 6 AM, weekends as needed)
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Willingness to pursue trade certifications (e.g., NCCER)
