Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, drills) under supervision.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times, including sweeping and debris removal.
- Support: Provide general support to skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) as needed.
- Documentation: Assist with basic site documentation and inventory tracking.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or a similar field is preferred but not required; we provide training.
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools and safety equipment is a plus.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a background check.
- Safety Focus: Commitment to following all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
