The Role:
As a Night Shift Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our construction sites. You will work closely with experienced foremen and tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials to and from the job site.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and safety charts.
- Prepare surfaces and materials for application, including mixing concrete and mortar.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
