Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout shifts
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts and power tools (with certification)
- Complete daily progress reports and safety documentation
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction or related field experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during night shift hours
- Class A CDL or forklift certification preferred
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
