Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation under night shift conditions
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, excavation, and concrete work
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including waste management
- Operate power tools and machinery (training provided)
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation
- Collaborate with team members to meet tight project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid California Driver's License required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout San Jose
- Flexible availability for night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
