Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job sites
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout and installation
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Perform concrete finishing and scaffolding assembly
- Participate in emergency weather response procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening required
- Flexible availability for weekend overtime as needed
