Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, and control panels
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Perform diagnostic testing and system repairs during nighttime operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale commercial projects
- Document work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Nebraska State Electrician Journeyman license
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in low-light conditions
- Experience with PLC systems and VFDs preferred
