Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Coordinate with day shift teams for seamless project transitions
- Perform routine maintenance on transformers, circuit breakers, and control systems
- Document all work activities using digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently in low-light conditions
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
