Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency electrical troubleshooting and repairs on commercial and industrial equipment.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control circuits.
- Review blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation and compliance with local and national codes.
- Conduct safety inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure a safe working environment.
- Document work orders, material usage, and time spent on tasks accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local wiring codes.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10pm - 6am) and holidays as required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
