Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to execute complex projects accurately.
- Respond to emergency calls and service requests during the night shift, diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Document all work completed, including material usage and time logs, for accurate billing and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all OSHA safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM or similar).
- Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting, circuit analysis, and the use of electrical testing equipment.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
