Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead emergency response teams for critical infrastructure failures
- Train junior technicians on safety protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Michigan Journeyman Electrician license (or reciprocity with Illinois)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in PLC/HMI systems and industrial automation
- Strong diagnostic skills with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and circuit tracers
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
